Getting Here
Flying
The nearest airport to Les Deux Alpes is Grenoble, which is about one and a half hours away and transfers are readily available for most of the winter season.
There are many budget airlines that fly into Grenoble from various airports in the UK and looking on the internet is the best way of finding a flight to suit you. There are of course, scheduled flights but these are more expensive.
To get from Grenoble airport there is a company that runs a bus transfer from Grenoble to Les Deux Alpes every day of the week for as little as£45pp return (2011/12 prices).Their bus stops in resort is just a few minutes walk from any of our apartments. If you want a bit more luxury or there are a few of you, a taxi may be the best method, and we can arrange this for you with taxi transoisans. We can give you a price for this if we have all of your details.
Car hire is an option, and gives you the advantage of exploring other resorts included on your lift pass. Check out the web site where you book your flight for car hire companies.
When booking a flight, don’t always be tempted to book the cheapest flight which may arrive/depart so early or late that extra transfer costs can more than make up for the difference in price., as well as a small extra charge that we reserve the right to make if the arrival/departure times from your apartment are after 10pm, or before 7am.
Lyon, Genevre and Chambery airports are all also within 3 hours drive, but transfers are difficult leaving car hire as the only real viable option.
Driving
Les Deux Alpes is 600-700 miles from the channel ferry ports or the channel tunnel port. The drive usually takes an average of 10 hours. Weather and traffic conditions can obviously affect the time taken to drive here. The Janremon has it’s own private parking space, and les Bleuets and les Balcons have free street parking outside and nearby.
